PHOTO SOUVENIR:
Photographs are the best souvenirs you can take with you and there are many ways to get one, for example. In Palcoyo Rainbow Mountain, you will see many local people with their typical costumes who have llamas and alpacas in their arms and also have adult llamas and alpacas dressed in a peculiar way who will surely attract your attention. If you want to take pictures with the places of typical costumes with their llamas and alpacas they usually ask you for a tip of 5 soles in dollars like 3 as a minimum accepted

BOOKING ONLINE:
- Booking the PALCOYO RAINBOW MOUNTAIN tour is very easy, you can click on the yellow button that says BOOK ONLINE which will take you to a reservation platform where you can choose the DATE OF YOUR TRIP (we have daily availability) then it will ask you for general information which you have to fill them, then you can proceed with the payment of the tour, the payment you can make with any type of debit or credit card.
- Once you finish filling in the data and confirm the payment, you will receive an email confirming the tour and payment, then you will receive a personalized and detailed email about the tour that you keep in mind all the details of your trip to Rainbow Mountain.
- You can book until 7:00 pm one day before starting the tour.
- Booking Online has a fee of 2.9% covered by the customer
BOOKING AT THE OFFICE:
- If you like, you can come to our office in Cusco we are located in the Downtown – Portal Nuevo 270 Plaza Regocijo. One of our counters will explain the details of the tour and you get a map of the tour.
Payment method in the office
- You can pay in cash, we accept dollars, euros, and Peruvian soles.
- You can pay with any type of card but there is a fee of 3.9% covered by the customer

PAYMENT, CANCELLATION AND CHANGING POLICY
- If you cancel the tour 48 hours in advance, we will refund 100% of the amount you paid for the tour. To cancel the tour, you have to send an email to machupicchureservations@gmail.com
- If you cancel the tour 24 hours in advance, we will refund 50% of the amount you paid for the tour. To cancel the tour, you have to send an email to machupicchureservations@gmail.com
- Machu Picchu reservations may cancel the tour 24 hours before due to weather reasons, such as landslides, river floods or police situations, such as strikes that do not provide the security of the case; we will refund 100% of the amount paid for the tour.
- If you do not show up the tour at the agreed place and time, there is no refund.
- If you are already on tour and, perhaps for some reason, you cannot continue, there is no refund, but our guides will assist you to help you with any emergency that may arise.

What is the best time of the year to visit Palcoyo?

Maar vooral bijzonder dank aan onze gids Marco, hij heeft oog voor iedereen, zorgt voor verbinding en heeft enorm veel kennis wat hij heel fijn overbrengt! The trek itself was hard sometimes, especially the first 2 days, but our guide Carlos took such good care of us. He made sure everyone felt alright and he gave us a lot of information about the Incas and the environment. The camping sites were amazing and the food was delicious. We absolutely recommend doing the Salkantay trek with them!

Madeline G2024-08-05Great experience on the Inka Trail We did the 2 days Inka Trail with Luis and Alfredo, were we walked for one day and saw Machu Picchu already on the first evening and had a guided tour on the next morning. It was a really great experience, we enjoyed it a lot. Our guides were so passionate and proud to tell us something about their anscestors, the Inka people. So their passion made this trip really motivating and special and we also learned a lot. Walking this challenging trek gives one a good impression what the Inkas accomplished during the times and of course the tour at Machu Picchu was the highlight of the tour. Everything was well organized without any problems, the included lunch, dinner and accommodation was fine as well. Would definitely recommend.

Daarnaast was hij verantwoordelijk en lette hij goed op ieders gezondheid (vanwege de hoogte). Ook is hij een sociaal persoon, die leuke humor heeft. DUS, als je Amoroso als gids hebt, dan heb je geluk!! Our guide Carlos took really good care of our group (13 people) and gave us a lot of information and told funny stories. The food was good and more than enough. Everthig was so well organized. The first two nights in the huts were great. The rented sleeping bags were warm (I was worried before but it was -3 degrees at night and I'm always freezing but it was fine!). I would totally do this tour again and can definitly recommend Machu Picchu Reservations. Ask for Carlos as a guide - he was the best!
